The kick-off buzzed with over 800 attendees. A total of 24 companies and 35 teams joined the league, which will run on weekends until March 9, 2025. EXL Philippines' EXLITES emerged victorious in the Team Power Chant Competition. Merill Tiffany Serman of Tech Mahindra was also crowned Miss CVL 2025.

Cebu City Vice Mayor Dondon Hontiveros was the guest of honor, applauding CIB.O’s initiatives to promote work-life balance for IT-BPM professionals. He also expressed his support for the league by sponsoring the venue for future matches, underscoring the local government’s commitment to cultivating an active and engaged community.
